Cant get on chat? Please help!

For the past day I haven't been able to connect to the chat and it keeps saying "It took way too long to log in; I'm going to assume that chat failed to receive your request! Try refreshing and see if it works." and its making me very frustrated. Any suggestions?

It was probably because you were banned from chat. Read the rules next time you join to prevent this from happening again.

Have you tried restarting your computer I know its not actually Minecraft but restarting your computer or Router may Help.

That's odd. Maybe try clearing your browser cookies and cache.
