Hey my name is Caleb and as of late iv been working on a forum post for requirement to my server project. So i was looking through the rule section because i do that once and a while and i saw this line in forum guidelines "Do not use excessive formatting in your post such as colors, icons, images, links, or spoiler tags.". In my requirement post i use some images and formatting to make it easy to read. I'm wondering if that is ok? Here's a sample of my formatting in the spoiler. \/

Pretty much as long as you don't go full blown rainbow on every letter, it's all good.
I would try to make an example but I may be flagged. xD

The main thing for that rule is to keep people from spamming colors and font size changing so that you can easily read what is posted. The forums is for communication, not trying to hurt people's eyes.

Yes. When we say "excessive formatting" we mean when people use so much that you really can't read what they're saying or it becomes much harder to read.

Ex.
Yes. When we say "excessive formatting" we mean when people use so much that you really can't read what they're saying or it becomes much harder to read.
I don't want to speak for a moderator, but it should be fine, as long as it's not full of intense colours that hurt peoples eyes (as Palaeos said).
