[Suggestion] Forum Reply Notification

Hey there. Well, this is a simple suggestion; I think it'd be really neat if PMC implemented a notification system, probably in between the envelope (for PM's) and speech bubble (replies to your comments on submissions, or if you're the owner of the submission, comments on it) at the top right corner. Every time somebody replies to a post we make on the forums, a notification would pop up, allowing us to view the reply, basically just like MinecraftForum. It would make it really easy to see who replied to our posts, instead of having to go back to each individual thread and hunting down replies, one by one. Anybody with me? :D

Well, it's an interesting idea, but there is something like it already. When you have a thread open, at the bottom left corner of the page, there is a subscribe topic, button. This should then send you an email, whenever there is a reply to the thread. Also, near the top left of the forum page, is a "view your posts" link.

Would need some extreme work and I don't think our databases can handle that load...

Come on... if Cyprezz managed to add an Activity page on every single person's profile that details all of their activity just yesterday, I'm sure their servers can handle a simple notification system. ;P

trust me, as an experienced web Dev. Its gonna take a lot of bandwidth and storage space.
