If you do so, you might consider accepting texture packs (rather than skins) as this would allow both the passive and shooting versions in a single entry.
i dont know how to accept 2 types of entries, plus i dont know how to use texture packs
Ranked jams are limited to a single type of contentfor entries (which makes a degree of sense, if not in this case).
As to how to use texure packs it's easy enough (at least in java) — just copy the pack [usually a zip file] to the resouce folder for the world: see the tutorial linked from the texturepack page, How to download and install Minecraft Texture Packs
