So, my idea is...
When you're on your/ viewing a profile and it has the tabs that say Submissions, Activity, Favorites, Subscribers, Subscriptions, why not add something that says: Recomended Members?
I have a lot of subscriptions, but I want to single some out. And instead of just writing it in your Bio Section, why not be able to type out a member's name while in the My Account, and they're added to a separate tab? I think that would be helpful to people.

i think this idea has some potential if some things are worked out.
my two cents on the idea is that you could use the "tags" that people put in when they post something. if you're looking at a profile of somebody, you'll have a box somewhere on the screen where it'll display another user who uses similar tags on their posts as well. the recommendation would also be based on their level and posting tendencies, so a user who posts blogs and is level 24 would have a recommendation box where other users who are bloggers and are also close to level 24 would be recommended too.
so to summarize, the user recommendations would be based on tags, level, and what type of stuff they post (blogs, projects, mods, etc.)

What you're explaining is "similar artists" or "similar projects", "keywords" etc. This could be a VERY interresting feature!!

Why not just put the 'featured profiles' on your blurb or something. It's directly on your profile, and there's no need to have a new tab for it.

It's a very specialized thing, and it would encourage users to use that spot for bribery purposes (ie, "give me x and you will get a spot on my super special Recommended page).

But it's kinda like the diamond for diamond thing. I think most members that have been with the site for a while (Paddy, [Colors], MasterSky, peytonisgreat, etc.) would use it right, and with responsibility. Maybe make it availible at something like, level 25, or level 20? That could weed out the abuse.
