How do you post .jpeg photos in wall post

I was tried to post a image of myself and it only shows a blank white small square instead.

Convert them to a png? Not sure if the wall editor allows jpeg.

ALRIGHT so I actually posted a thread like 2 weeks ago about the same subject.
It's actually kinda complicated but here's how:
1) You'll need to make an account on an image-hosting website (imgur is my favorite).
2) Post your image to the website.
3) Open the post where you have your image.
4) With your mouse on the image, click Open Link in New Tab.
5) Copy the URL of the image in the new tab link.
6) Click Insert/Edit Image while editing a post.
7) Where it says "Source," put the URL of your image in the new tab link.
8) The image should appear if you've done it right.
It's overly complicated, and there is probably an easier way, but this is how I learned to post images.

This, except Imgur doesn't require you to make an account to post images. You can still make one anyway, but it isn't a requirement.
