Widgets work like the member page, other bits (includig permissions and invites) are under the GROUP tab.
Invites are issued by choosing the role to which the person is to be invited from the list at the left, then entering the user name in teh box at the right "ASSIGN MEMBER" which is the one I have trouble remembering how to do.

Ok I did not noticed it only works on desktop mode
