Hello Planet Minecraft.
I haven't been on the site for literally 3 years, and haven't played Minecraft in the same amount of time too.
I'm just wondering if this site is still active and has regular posting?
Cheers

It's still active but nothing like it used to be, hardly anyone gives out diamonds for projects anymore compared to 4 years ago

Yeah, for eight whole straight years, this place is still very active, especially if you have subscribers posting on your personal wall feed. If nobody was active on here, I probably would've quit years ago. But after many years, thankfully this place is still the friendly community it always was! :D

Well, I've became more active around here so something seems to be working :)
In all fairness: even though my profile says that I've been here 2 or so years the truth is that I've only recently started to become more active. Having said that I can honestly say that I'm having a good time so far.
To me PMC is a bit like Minecraft itself: it's just as much fun as you can make of it.

I am in a state of alive, so PMC must be alive

Yes, it definitely does in some sections, like skins and projects. However other sections, like the chat and blogs, aren't doing so well. In the skins section, the first three pages of recently updated are from the last three or four hours, so it's definitely very active. On the other hand, you have the chat that gets maybe 20 people a day, and basically no one in any rooms besides general.

ah ok. Yeah, just haven't been on the site for a few years.

I think the best way of putting it is: the site is dying at the same rate as Minecraft itself, which is to say, very slowly.

I would say untrue. I no longer play Minecraft but love to hang out here and start a conversation.
I don't think this website will be going anywhere soon, only if these kind of threads keep popping up.

Right, but in the same sense, Minecraft is just filled with little kids now. Like I don't know anyone over the age of 11 who still plays Minecraft? So is the site the same?

I'm here and play minecraft (age 15)

As long as PMC exists, Minecraft will too. I'd imagine PMC isn't going anywhere, at least for now.

Minecraft isn't actually full of kids, most servers I've gone though over a couple of years have people as young as 12 to as old as 32 years old. In my opinion, I run into a LOT of teenagers and some adults on every other server. Not in a bad way though.

I'm in my early 20s and still enjoy it, even if not as frequently as I used to years ago but that's cause life happens lol.

im 36 and play daily.

There's still people over 11, I am one of such people, and I know others as well.
Also, Exevium Minecraft is NOT dying, the numbers show growth still (just not as much on Java), and it's second in most copies sold in ALL of gaming history (First is Tetris, a 33 year old game with only 48 million more copies)!

Rules have become stricter, I've had my bad experiences with moderators here in the past (no further comment), but from a texturepack-makers perspective, the past 2.5 years have been relatively the same.
