Level Reset?

So I was an Apprentice Explorer yesterday and now I am a New Explorer. This means, and is shown, that I am set now at level 1. Now I know levels aren't important but I'm curious as to why this happened.

XP is in the submissions, not your profile. Delete a submission and say bye bye to all that XP.

when you deleted your old server you lost all the XP associated with it. That's why your level has been reset.
