@Palaeos that's exactly right... there's no time most of the time to explain why you're banning/kicking someone. It's a downfall of the chat software. If someone's making a serious infraction I usually publicly post BEFORE I ban them WHY they are being banned and then have another user screenshot the chat.

Maybe mods should be required to ban a user and include a reason? Some thing like /kick [time] [reason] <-- Ish similar to mcbans :3

I believe when it comes to chat the us moderators only have the ability to ban if you are in the chat, so say a spammer comes on and then leaves they wouldn't be able to be banned/kicked due to not being in chat anymore since the moderator was trying to type out the reason. I don't truly know though, never been into chat myself. :/ Just repeating what i heard a while ago on the subject.

I see your point, but I'll add that (I'm pretty sure I saw a certain admin say this) you can kick without the actual person being in the chat.. Just trying to suggest ways for you guys to have less work (in a way) :3

simple_guy, yes you are on the list, poketmon, I can't find you, but the list isn't in alphabetical order, so you might be there....
as for WHY you are banned? no clue. I wish there was a way to tell. They're usually temporary though, try back in a day or two.
