That is why, boys and girls, you do not utilize liquids close to electronics

Don't cry over spilled milk... >.< Very punny. So corny it's amaizeing.
Like the others have said, take out the battery and leave it submerged in a bowl of dry rice for a day or two, and it should be fine (though, that is more for water damage than milk damage). If all else fails, take it to an Apple store and pray that you're still under warranty.

I would take it into the applestore and let the IT people repair it. Chances are, the milk seeped into the system, this can cause damage days or even weeks after the spill.
On another note, don't cry over spilled milk, clean it up and move on.

Actually has happened to me (yeah, i was eating cereal and sort of spilled it all on it.. being the idiot I am, i continued running my computer. Next two days, keyboard would not type, later computer went slow -- just stopped working as a whole)
I'm not a pro with macs, so yeah.
This is very bad for your computer. It may run fine for a while, but it will stop working and stuff.
first though, save literally everything onto a flash drive or something.
You need to take out your computer battery, flip over your computer and yeah.
So yeah
um, if it's been then for a while you're doomed.
if not, then yeah flip it over, take out the battery
AGAIN, NOT A PRO WITH MACS, NOT EVEN SURE IF THEY HAVE A BATTERY

Glad you are, basically your computer would be dead.
If you're worried about data, of course save it.

Whatever you do unplug the computer before you open it... I know most people on here are probably laughing but seriously, some people are just super stupid, and even they (probably) don't deserve to be electrocuted...

Are you sure you can't open up your MacBook? It seems like a design flaw if you can't open it up. Are you using a MacBook Pro or an Air as well? Try opening it up and putting rice or maybe even some bread in there, they both suck up moisture very well. Leave them in there for about a day or two, three if you feel like it. MacBooks are very durable laptops and can take quiet a beating, your laptop seems fine as long as you let it dry. As for your headphones, a circuit probably short-circuited from the milk and is most likely un-fixable. If you get your MacBook open as well, I suggest you take a very moist cloth and just try and get rid of any of the milk residue to remove the smell.

This is somewhat related but probably not helpful... This topic just made me think of it.
One time, when I was little and on a fishing trip with my dad, I dropped my Gameboy Color in a stream. It still works.

Did the milk spill into the cooling fan vent? I'd ask someone who knows a lot about computers. Preferably, someone who fixes computers for a living (it might cost you some cash, though).

Like froghog said, I think you should dry it out using rice. However, drying it out could only stop the damage from continuing. It is possible a part of your Mac was damaged with the milk. If you discover any unusual activity with your mac(unusually slow, keyboard not lighting up, etc) I suggest you go and get it checked out. If you still have your Apple warranty(usually 1 year after purchase) you can get it repaired or even replaced free.
P.S. If you haven't plugged the Mac into an outlet yet, don't do it until you get it checked or you're positive no damage was done to the battery.
P.P.S. To make a reservation at the genius bar look here: http://concierge.apple.com/reservation/ ... chsupport/

put it in some rice. it will attract asians and they will fix it for you. jk, but do put it in rice, it will help with drying out the milk

Milk leaves behind a fatty residue just like how water can sometimes leave behind minerals.
This can still damage the system.

it will also stink
because its a macbook you wont be able to open it and clean it all...this is why PC is superior

It usually stops smelling after a while though, but then again if there is enough left in there it could mold and send out nasty stuff into the air. Or completely take over the computer and become a living entity that desires to take over the world.
