Monsters keep spawning in my house

In creative mode im building a house for halloween and going to put it on youtube but monsters somehow keep getting in my house mostly creepers all the doors are shut its very well lit and everything please help me.

if the floor are made of dirt it can spawn monsters there.maybe you have a spawner under your house.

Actually, if you have torches placed everywhere, then your set. If you have double doors, then it wont be a problem. But if the monsters keep spawning, then you need to fill up the areas that are dark with torches so that the monsters dont spawn. I have beds up againsts walls, but monsters dont appear near me. It depends on the size of your house because a larger area need alot more torches, duh.

Torches are what stops mobs from spawning, but there has been a double-door glitch that caused mobs to be able to enter, and if you are directly next to a wall that a mob can spawn by, then they can spawn through the wall and wake you up.
The OP has already said he has enough light so telling him all he needs is light isn't helpful.

Place your bed one block away from a wall.
Make extra sure it is light enough- Zombe's mod has a mode to show you where mobs can spawn.
Sometimes there is a double door glitch where monsters can get through. Try removing the doors, replacing with dirt, and then see if it still happens.

Well if the mode is on creative..Just put your mode on peaceful and you said its a house for halloween its good that they spawn in it!

this is one of the 1.8 bugs creepers will spawn inside of ur house if u dosent have a double wall. they kinda walk through the walls. it was like this when minecraft updated from 1.5 to 1.6

maybe ur bed is right to the wall and the monsters wake u up

I dont know about that but i was once in a house everywher closed and lit up but when i went to sleep a creeper attacked me :I
