That is all I get when I start minecraft It won't do anything other than that.
I tried updating (numerous times) and I can't seem to get it started up.

The same thing happened to me. Do you have minecraft,jar unzipped? because i did, and for some reason when i compressed it back to a .jar and deleted the unzipped version, it worked $_$ not sure why, but try it. it might help you out a little

I suggest you download the launcher and delete the whole .minecraft folder, to "start afresh" which will eliminate all problems.

Could you possible upload a .zip file of everything in the .minecraft folder ?

This might be a problem with your internet connection, the launcher automatically downloads the changelog of Minecraft, if there is a problem with the address then you either have tampered with the minecraft files or you have a problem with your internet.
