Hi, kinda new here and I was wondering is there any way to reduce lag when loading chunks on minecraft? I am using a texture pack as well as optifine and shaders mod to help make the details look nice. But everytime I go somewhere or try to go far to get a good picture, it always ends up lagging really hard and also sometimes part of the land or towers I've built goes missing.. Any ideas on how to keep the chunk still loaded and not laggy? Thanks in advance! :]

What texture pack is it? If it's a detailed one that will definitely make you lag. Also depending on your ram, you can allocate more to it when you start up the game. That helps with keeping the game stable. I'd recommend only doing this if you have 8+ GB of ram. Lastly, lower your view distance until it's not so laggy.
