im trying to make double doors using an inverter switch and it works for a while and then the stupid redstone torch on the inverter switch burns out! i dont know what to do... i also had a similar problem with a redstone piston device. The torches also burn out when i use any kind of gate

when i made a piston gate once it was working for a while THEN the red stone torches was not working even when i put a new one.weird bug.

Yeh you have to rebuild it in another chunck it does get annoying.

If they flicker to fast they'll burn out, it's to prevent you making wacky stuff. :3

yeh but sometimes its with the chuncks to because they stay burnt out even when you replace them, well not stay they go out after any current is apllied

Yeh this happens sometimes sadly the only thing you can do is replace the torch and if it burns out of 1 click again then you have to make it somewhere else
