I've really been interested in tweaking some of the vanilla textures, so that way the game is a slight bit more lively and interesting.

I've decided to punch my way through every single biome, one at a time, revamping the blocks found it it.
I chose a mesa biome as my first pick, after like 10 minutes of retexturing red sand, I'd like to get an opinion between two textures.

Here is a link to my Reddit post on r/Minecraft which contains the pictures of the textures I'm trying to choose between!

Which red sand texture do you prefer?

I think you did a really good job with choosing the color of Texture 1

I have a different opinion altogether?

I like the color of your first texture, but when you look at the 2nd from a distance, you can see interesting shapes and patterns. Maybe have those same patterns but use the first color?

#1, but would sort of like to see the pattern from texture #1 with the hue of textire #2, but with the saturation dialed down a good bit…

The original looks too yellow for red sand IMO, texture #1 too orange, but texture #2 is too intense (the paterning in #2 might also offer some possibilities if player controlable, but also looks like teh mease is covered in petraglyphs).

Texture one is vibrant while remaining true to the feel of Minecraft, remaining more on the orange side. Texture two is blatently red sand, and doesn't feel like it would fit in well with the game, especially when the lowest terracota blocks to red sand are usually orange.

Thank You! It's obvious that 1 is the best choice. My screenshots for some reason have a bit more saturation than in game, but they are not too far off.

I'm currently grinding my way through the Terracotta's
