Site lag/downtime

Just wondering, what exactly is the host for this site?
It seems like there is a LOT of lag, and downtime on this server, I feel like I am using Dial-Up internet here xD
Is it because the host or whatever (I know alot about servers, not a whole lot about websites) can't handle the amount of people on the website? Perhaps you should auto-delete locked threads after a certain amount of time? Or is there a way to get more power for the website? You could ask for donations to up the power, if that is how it works.

To be perfectly honest, it isn't that hard to make websites. I started when I was 11.

I hear the site will be getting new server(s) to help speed it up a bit.
I also hear the the owner of the website might be tweaking it/fiddling with it.
None of this I can confirm so believe what you like ^__^

Po1ntBlankLW80866It seems that PMC may not have unlimited bandwidth with their current host. Either that or they are running out of storage for all the conten they're hosting.

PMC is hosted by HostMonster. This allows PMC unlimited storage space and bandwidth. Because of this, I am not sure why the site has a lot of downtime and lag. Maybe you should check out the HostMonster site for more info.

I think it's the sheer fact that there is so many submissions.
