You can either buy a server, or ask server owners if they would lend you some space on their server :p
If it helps, then I would love to lend you a world on my server :D

No not at all :)
If you send me the map then I can import it into the server files and create a world with all the progress you have made so far. As soon as that's done, I can set a teleport command up on the server that will take you to your world.
As a little bonus (if it matters) you'll also have access to World Edit and VoxelSniper. The only downside to this is that you won't be able to code / use command blocks. But if that's not an issue, then I would be more than happy to host your map :)

Everything sounds great, except cor a couple things--One is this:If i upload mymap to pmc, if i used worldedit, would it affect it at all?

I can lend you some space. Upload your world to a site such as https://uploadfiles.io/.

I only have 40GB on the server and I am using a lot of it on my own, how about a 10GB limit? Let me know if you need more.

that depends, if the second person is on the same wifi connection then you should be fine to just open the world to LAN
but if they are somewhere else then i suggest going to https://aternos.org/en/
and start a temporary private server hosted on the selected world and share the server info with your friend
