Hey PlanetMinecraft team and community,
I wanted to suggest a small but helpful feature: adding a “Free” or “Paid” flag to each post or submission (maps, texture packs, skins, etc.).
With more creators linking to external sites like Patreon, Ko-fi, or Boosty for downloads, it’s sometimes unclear whether the content is freely accessible or locked behind a pay page.
This can be frustrating for users looking specifically for free content.
This would help users know what to expect and reduce unnecessary clicks or confusion.
Would love to hear what others think — I believe this could really improve transparency on the platform!
Thanks for considering!

💡 Suggested Implementation:
When submitting a post, users can select a flag:
✅ Free Download
💰 Paid / External Pay Page (e.g. Patreon)
The flag would show on the post thumbnail or title area for quick visibility.
This would help users know what to expect and reduce unnecessary clicks or confusion.

Dont we already have this?

If one looks into the " 'X' FILTERS " dropdown menus (MAPS FILTERS / TEXTURE PACK FILTERS / etc) the fifth column (of six) allows sorting by monetization via radio buttons for Any | Free | Ad Shortener | Monetized

Something like this already exists, a green file symbol is displayed for a free download and a yellow one with a $ sign for paid content. The download buttons on the project page are also marked as either free or paid.
