It doesn't contribute anything; it's considered spam. We'd rather you have a diverse set of posts with their purpose/explanation rather than the same one being quoted simultaneously on a thread. One post is enough and doesn't need to be quoted multiple times without additional text explaining a user's opinion regarding why they quoted it.

No, this should not be considered spam. Although it is technically the same message. It's by different users, showing agreement. So, it actually does add to the conversation.

It's supposed to mean that you are agreeing with the person you're quoting.

I understand that, but what I am asking is if they are considered spam. They don't add to the conversation and they are quite annoying.
