2. If you were trapped inside an obsidian circle surrounded by hostile mobs and you only have a block of wool and four blocks of soul sand, what would you do?
P.S. From now on, this is SUPER HARD MODE where zombies and skeletons can break any type of block and spiders can go through slabs and stairs, they can only be blocked by SOLID BLOCKS.

Now that there is SUPER HARD MODE I have another answer.
I would build up 3 blocks with the soul sand and create a wall on one side with the last remaining soul sand and wool, then I would punch the spooders off every time they try to get up, and because I have the wall behind me, the spooders cannot sneak attack me and the skeletons can't shoot my back, forcing them to shoot where the spooders are trying to get up, and accidentally shooting the spooders, causing them to get aggro'd by the skeletons, then spooders and skeletons will then have a war with each other, and I will help them by punching the ones who aren't yet dead, and the mobs in combat with other mobs won't attack me, because that doesn't work for some reason, which is a good thing for me, all of the mobs will end up dead and me surviving. :)
Edit: same applies for the zombies, I forgot to add that lol, the skeletons would shoot the zombies :)

2) assuming i'm only trapped in a ring (with no top or bottom) I would place the blocks around the bottom of the circle (as to seal it) and just tunnel out.
If it does have a top/bottom, same thing (it would just take longer lol)
edit: I now see you probably meant the mobs are in the circle with me; in that case i'd just try and kill some spiders until I can make another wool block, and then tower up 2 blocks (with the wool) and put the soul sand around the tower so spiders can't climb up. then i'd probably immediately die to a skeleton but we don't talk about that

Okay, you said the mobs are in the circle with you. I actually meant that the mobs don't have to be in the circle. Congrats, you figured it out!

ill cook trust me, so first ill get that block of wool and make a block up to slow mobs down, ill use the soul sand to slow down the mobs around me andill just keep lsappin them untill thay die, for skelentons ill zigzag untill i get to them and meelee them until they die, hopefully i get a drop of arrows and a bow so i can pick of the creepers.
