Maybe you need to install OpenGL?

Drivers are not "fixed" because Microsoft says there is nothing wrong with them and they are fully updated.

This is the first game we have tried to download onto our PC.

I would think this has to do with the drivers but you already said you got that fixed. Can you run other games on the computer?

Also, the download part would just be on the minecraft site how you would normally download minecraft.
