I mean, I've played Java edition since I was 12 and I'm 21 now, so I might be a bit biased. Also I've only ever played Bedrock on console and I am not a fan of joystick controls for most games.

I played on bedrock back then. But as soon as I touched java, I can see why it is way better.
Bedrock requires you to pay for skins and rp. That's a huge minus.
Java also has a well established community, so creating in Java is way easier because you can search up a lot of resources online.

I pity Bedrock for what "they" won't allow it to be.

In Java you can play on any ver, bedrock is broken. Java has more things than bedrock (game mechanics, datapacks, mods (easier) free txt) but bedrock has baby glow squid <3

Java gives you significant more freedom with the game

java allows for more freedom in making the game what you want (plus you don't have to pay for stuff like resource packs and skins)

Honestly, in my opinion Java is better.
Bedrock comes closer when you play it on the microsoft store, like on a laptop or computer, but if you are playing it on on a tablet or phone. Java is 2 times better at least than bedrock.
Both versions of the game are awesome!

Java mate, all the way.
I played both for quite a while when I was younger, and Java edition just feels so clean and organized compared to its counterpart.
And since it's also the version I was first introduced to, it just feels like home.

I was first introduced onto bedrock but I fell in love with Java edition mods
so I would vote Java but you haven't set up the poll options yet.
