What parts of minecraft are currently dull?

I'd like to know (for my own entertainment) what you think the most bland part of minecraft is.
Personally, mine is the sky. there's nothing up there.

The Nether. To me atleast. That place is super boring and I only ever go there for blaze rods.

For me, the Nether isn't dull. It's terrifying. I have an intense fear of heights and for some reason, the Nether deeply triggers that for me. Trying to get high to get glowstone is too scary. I let my friends get it for me.

Mining. It's repetitive and rarely even gets you anything interesting.

Maybe the fact that you can't take your Spanish lessons anymore.

Honestly, just about everything can become monotonous in Minecraft if you let it. But I do think updates are needed for many areas. I mean, a "Cave Update" has been desired by the community for ages but Mojang hasn't done a thing about it.

Probably the trees. I feel like the default ones are just kinda boring. Maybe add apple trees or something to spice it up

I would definitely be interested in an update to caves, abandoned mineshafts, and even more added to exploration. I really love mining, but spending that much time underground seeing most of the same things I saw years ago can get kind of old. I'd also like to see some more above-ground buildings, biomes, or objects to help make world exploration more rewarding and fun. They definitely made it more fun recently what with the new structures and maps you can find, but even more in the future would be amazing!

That would be super awesome! Just think of all the new blocks, enemies, structures, and 'nature' they could add!

I'm not sure what my answer would be, but I think that OP's answer is so interesting!
It would be neat if they added something to the sky, as they did with the end. Just some sort of... Something? Something to explore. I'd imagine that whatever is up there would be reaaaally difficult though. Ah! It's a really interesting thought!

Caves, mine shafts, nether and just the dungeons. caves are just too boring and after like 10 minutes of mining i just don't want to play the game anymore.. same goes for the nether, it's too boring, while the dungeons are a bit less boring.. they are still boring, easy, and some of them haven't seen a update for like 7 years+.

Not many people have mentioned this, but pets. So many great pet mods that add new ones and make them have skills and stuff make me want something similar in vanilla minecraft.
