Windows 7 can't recognize my headset

It can recognize my mic just fine, the the audio no longer be recognized. I've used this for headset for a while now and the audio played just fine but out of nowhere it's broken.
I did check that all of the jacks were properly plugged in, restarted the comp and all of that, but only the microphone is recognized.
Any help? I've searched the internet but still can't find the answer.

Try going to your sound icon on the icons tray, right click and click Playback Devices. Set the headset as default playback.
That's what I usually do when sound doesn't go through my headset. But I have windows 10, so I don't know how it will work for you, since you're on windows 7.
