Tried to upload an updated schematic of a building, having fixed a few blocks, but I keep getting a message that .schematic is an unsupported file! Wouldn't let me re-upload the original file that was previously posted, either!
I'm assuming this is an error that's not my fault -- schematics are still accepted, yes?

Try clearing the web browser history/cache, then upload it again.. There's no reason you should have this much trouble. Also try different browsers..

Except now I can't (nor can anyone else!) upload it until they fix the image problem.

You need to zip the file. You can do so with 7-zip, WinRar, or some other archiving tool. I've never uploaded a .schematic file, but this should solve your problem..
