If you're wondering what the title is all about, this contest is to create a custom mob. No, not using mods, in fact you'll be disqualified for using mods. It's using command blocks. Obviously, you need to know how to do that. (Ideally there should be 10+ contestants)The deadline is August 25. You can submit and edit until the deadline (might change), then the judges will judge. After the judges are done, they post their judging in the comments and the winners are decided.
You can ask me for any help with the mob, as long as it's not the whole thing or something. Also, check out my blog before doing this (How to create Custom Mobs).
The mob should be hard to fight by the typical survival enemy (not including redstoners, etc.). You CAN submit a pet, notice how I said enemy. That could mean your minecraft rivals, zombies, etc. It doesn't have to be an "evil" mob, but it can.
Tell which Minecraft version the commands are!
It's SUPER vexing to get here. :(

Judging Criteria:
Originality: 1-10 (mob and it's behaviors are original)
Effort/Functionality 1-10 (mob is the result of hard work and has with no issues or bugs)
Mechanics 1-10 (The mob's movement and abilities are innovative of high quality. The structure it is fought in lets it display the full potential of its' abilities)
Aesthetics 1-10 (The mob and structure both look well polished and professionally designed)

Judges, vote each contestant (not criteria group) on a scale of 1-10 points.
1 = Malfunctional
2 = Vanilla Mob
3 = Slight Modification
4 = Not the theme
5 = Two Features
6 = Unoriginal
7 = Three-Four Features
8 = Five-Seven Features
9 = Way Above Standards
10 = Redstone Wizardry
1st Place: Feature the mob in a different build, 1 favorite + 1 diamond
2nd Place: Add variants of the mob, 1 favorite
3rd Place: Add more to the mob, 1 diamond
Participants: Experience!
Judges: 1 favorite + 1 diamond on any project

But who is "everyone"? Because you don't have a deadline for sign-ups either. With the description you have in place, this contest could theoretically go on indefinitely.
Picking a set date would b better :)

You should have a deadline.... otherwise if this has no deadline, it means its infinite with no end and eventually bleed dead
