The shading and overall appeal of this skin is exceptional. We are most impressed with the light sourcing and design. VinylReplica also incorporated the name of the palette into the design of their submission, and we enjoyed their take on it. Although they did not use all the colors from the palette, the usage of blue (in the great majority) makes the skin look dark and arcane, while implementing few yellow pixels creates a cool-looking light source. The concept of the character is absorbing and the technique is majestic. Congratulations on Third Place.

We love the palette usage in this entry. Each face has a different main color and uses good shading techniques to execute their idea. The concept of the skin matches perfectly with the variety of colors and diversity of tones. We did note that some of the colors compete with each other, but every palette comes with its challenges. Overall we are impressed and look forward to seeing more of Voluminized's submissions in the future. Congratulations on Second Place.

Mermaidia utilized the color palette in such a way that allowed for the design to be detailed and refined. Canday's use of a 3D face made the entire skin more interesting to view from each side. Canday went out of her comfort zone with the face, but it certainly paid off. They managed to use the entire palette and create a beautiful character full of color, and without blending issues. The anatomy of the mermaid, especially the face and tail, looks interesting and gives movement to the skin. Congratulations on First Place.
