Say it ain’t snow, it’s already DECEMBER! We're celebrating the chilly December month by harnessing our combined creativity to transform PMC and Minecraft into joyful winter wonderland! Grab some hot chocolate, spread that cozy creative warmth or use it to blast the arctic cold into your creations. Let's share the holiday spirit and celebrate our favorite festivities. Join us around the digital fireplace and share your carefully crafted creations with Planet Minecraft family and friends. Cheers!
Non-competitive
During the entire month of December, Planet Minecraft is hosting a Winter-themed event. This event non-competitive. This means there is no competition, no judges, no final leaderboard and no winners. At the end of the event, each participant will receive a special participation badge.
Rules & Guidelines
Even though this is a non-competitive event, there are a couple of rules and guidelines.
Up to FIVE entries per participant!
The event allows for any participant to enter up to five entries in any combination of projects, skins, data packs and blogs categories. Video's, artwork and other creative creations can also be shared as a blog-post.
- The standard rules of Planet Minecraft apply to any submission.
- You are expected to enter new work. This means you cannot enter any creation that was previously uploaded to Planet Minecraft.
- You are allowed to enter work that was created for another winter-themed unofficial community event.
- Collaborations and teamwork are allowed for this event.
- Submissions that do not follow the winter theme will be disqualified.
Tips
- If you create an entry which doesn't immediately seem winter-themed (for example: a skin of a person in a warm sweater), make sure to explain the relevance to the theme in your submission's description.
- You can create a skin, a blog-post and a project, you do not have to choose a single category.
- You have the entire month of December, so take your time and have fun!
- Don't hesitate to collaborate for this event, we would love to see group efforts!

the rules do not state anything about that, I think you can work from phone

If it's bedrock edition, it's allowed. (Are native console editions even a thing anymore?) Make sure to mark your submission as Bedrock Edition, when you upload something.

So I'm not allowed to post resource packs? Pretty much everything else is allowed but not resource packs.

Resource packs are allowed too, you can enter them into the event from the edit submission page like any other submission. The mistake should be fixed soon.

Just so you know, in the part about entering a mob skin it says “…to make them spookier than ever before” and in the data pack part, it says “…who knows what you'll add into the game to make Minecraft more spooky and ghoulish to explore this October”

Can I update my datapack that had been accepted in Halloween event and submit it to the event?

Nope. The description does hint towards Halloween on accident, but it should be a new creation themed towards winter and festivities.

Apologies for the confusion around the spooky hints in the description!
Event submissions should be themed towards winter and festivities. (Not spooky/scary/october themed.)
Due to only Admins being able to edit the page and time zones, it takes a little bit for the mistakes to be ironed out.

Um... PMC, the Feeling Frosty Event page still has text from October in the mob skin, and data pack sections.
