Hi, I made this contest because I realized that there weren’t enough texture pack competitions and I thought it would be fun! You only have to make one 16x or 32x block, and the winner will receive a trophy and a pinch of glory.
Rules:
Every entrant will create ONE 32 by 32 or 16 by 16 texture for a natural block and link it in the comments. Do NOT make a texture pack, just a png file of the block.
What counts as a natural block?
Any non-transparent, solid block found in nature, such as logs, ores, stones, and grass. You can also do nether and end blocks!
Ends 30th of May
A default dirt texture, you can do better!
Why did I repost? Because the original got banned for the prizes so I removed the ones I didn’t know to be legal. Please don’t take this down!

okay i made something~ I re-textured cobblestone and turned it into cobbled basalt!
I was originally going to re-texture smooth basalt instead but not everybody uses 1.17 snapshots.

I didn’t use other peoples trophies, I offered to sub to the winner, but when I realised that wasn’t allowed I immediately corrected it. Please don’t believe what mcmaster said ):

You don’t need to create a texture pack - just one 16 by 16 or 32 by 32 pixel image to retexture a natural block :) you can use Microsoft paint which is built in to windows

No I DIDN’T it got banned for offering subs and I have since removed that. I wish mcmaster wouldn’t spread lies

Hey, hey! Guys! Calm down, please! I know I shouldn’t be minding not my business but I think that y’all went overboard. Sorry for bumping into this but, this is a contest to enjoy, not to fight over the it. It happened in the past, and nows now. So please, just calm down, and enjoy yourselves.

I have never made textures and I made this in paint so this looks strange on zoom :/

They’re supposed to, if you open a program like paint.net they won’t though, and they won’t in Minecraft.

i would enter but ya know I don't make skins plus i don't know where you texture the blocks anyways

Use any painting program on 16x or 32x canvas then send me the png. Just make it look nice, nothing technical
