The reason behind of this contest
You know since Minecraft cave & cliffs part 1 came out on june 8th, it's pretty exciting to see new blocks, textures and new mobs!
I've always wonder which thing fascinates you more.... I'm more into Glow Squid it's amazing isn't? :)( I wish Mojang adds the jellyfish though and it's always great to see them in deep underwater and even around the ocean monument ) It glows when you attacks it like a reaction this thing came to my mind for this contest. As you might noticed on the event calendar there's more skin players than mobs so I tell myself why not make my contest focus only mobs.
Most marine animals reacts differently: for instance, in real life, Squid can make his skin camouflage called '' Chromatophore '' but Jellyfish have a bio-luminescent it makes glow....
So Can you make a mob skin how it does reacts with a glow? Use your imagination! :) The glow can be beautiful in ways to show off with colors!

There's no prize will be given but only badge trophies you can get when the judge finish noting these the deadline is August 5th

It's okay you can ask questions that's normal and you learns more :) After the deadline, the judge phase takes time and will post the results in new thread and you will be more likely get notified by tagging your usename. The trophy badge will be posted in the new thread ( results ), you can save it as image :).

Oh I understand you fully... shading and hues are important for filling more vivid or beautiful form ( mobs and skins ). :D
