Ludicrous
Once again, it's time to pick the theme for our upcoming contest!
Read over each of the ideas carefully, making sure to understand what all of them are about before voting. Remember, vote for the one you like the best, not the one you think is going to win!
Apocalypse 2
- We find ourselves deep in the aftermath of nuclear war, coughing up disease and dangerous fumes! Radioactive gasses, polluted ground, murky waters filled with unsavory fish and grime, among other things, plague the world. What type of creatures live in these terrible environments, what type of survivors manage to eek out the day-to-day living, or what else lives out there, deep in the gaseous fog? Make a skin detailing a creature, character, or other such component of an Apocalypse-scarred world.
Laboratory Experiments
- ... Is it alive? Yes! Rise back to life and piece together an entry for the Laboratory Experiments Skin Contest! Use your color and shading talent to stitch a skin together depicting a horrible or beautiful creation of science, wizardry, or downright insanity! What kind of abomination could come from a beaker? Frankenstein, taken from the graves? A world-consuming sludge made of baking flour and too much yeast? Who knows what goes on behind those closed doors, deep in the mad scientist's lair! Make a skin depicting one of these wretched horrors or incredible triumphs.
Supervillains
- What would Superman be without Lex Luthor? Would Batman have ever been Batman without the Joker? The essential opposite, the terrible nemesis of a hero is the villain, of course! And a good villain only makes the hero that much better. What type of villain terrorizes your imaginary city, traps your hero in a devious device, or fights them fist to fist in glorious combat? What do they look like? What superpowers do they have? Make a skin depicting your own supervillain, and describe what they have for powers, how evil they are, or maybe who their counterpart is!
Urban Legends
- Whispers among the internet through shady sites and creepypastas has brought to life the most henious and spine-tingling creatures and entities in this modern age.
Food
- Nom nom... Oh! You caught me chowing down on this month's contest, the PMC Food Skin Contest! This one's nice and simple; make a skin depicting food, of any kind, flavor, shape, texture, or form! What do you like to eat? What goes well with it? Make a mouth-watering skin to show us!
Storybook Medieval
- The tales we read in storybooks as children come back to life in this contest, stories of daring knights, dashing rogues, and distressed damsels filling the pages of your imagination. What story will you tell with your skin? Perhaps a magical dragon that shoots fiery balls of flame has locked a poor knight in the tower, and a swashbuckling princess must come and save him! Or, a witch finds herself enchanted by the King's... horse? Anything goes in this fairy tale! Make a skin about a character set in a fictional, fantastical medieval world, or perhaps something else that might appear in such a fable.
The Lost Horror
- Under the surface of this sandbox game lie a being of fearful porportions. Much fabled to be worse than the dreaded Herobrine, a new horror awakens within this game, one more terrifying than the white eyed entity.
