What if the build we made is on a public server and you can't add a download link?

You can still enter the contest but you won't be eligible to make the finalists. The owner of the server may be able to provide you with a copy of your build in a downloadable format.

Quick question, I have a server flat world specific for contest builds, is it alright to use this world but include the cords of where the build is located, to not confuse the other contest builds with this one.

Is it your server? If so, consider changing the spawn point temporarily to the location of the build and create a downloadable file from it.

What are the parameters of Superhero? Does it have to be someone blatant like Batman or can it be out there like Mr Glass etc. Also are custom heroes allowed?

Superhero or Villain is completely up to you. You can make one up for the contest or as you mentioned use a well known character.

Good question! Until the experimental pack becomes "standard" let's stick to the default texture pack. Feel free to build with whatever pack you want and even take 50% of the screenshots with it. However, 50% of the screenshots should be with the default texture pack. Thanks!

can I build it on the survival world of my server network or does it have to be offline?

It does not have to be offline but to be eligible to win, you need to provide a downloadable version of what you create. If it's your server you shouldn't have a problem creating a downloadable version of the area for the contest. If it's owned / hosted by someone else, you'll have to ask them to create the downloadable for you.

Do you need to have a downloadable map with your submission? I play on console and i believe it is impossible to post my entry and have it available for download.

We do require a download to make it into the finalists and be eligible to win. You can still participate in the contest but downloads allow members and judges to explore, experience and review what you create.

1. Yes. Don't go too crazy though, meaning don't use them everywhere such as a method to increase the # of building blocks available to you.
2. Yes. Use them only as decoration / art / world domination map? Don't use as "covers" to gain additional textures/blocks to build with.

Well thought out interiors could / would probably make a home base stand out. We are not requiring it so that everyone is free to be creative in their own ways. Some might want to focus on smaller scale details while others wonder about scaling out and making the landscape / location a defining factor for their home base.

As far as I know worldedit is not out yet for 1.13, but to make the map yourself you could try to use worldpainter. All you would have to do is make the super villain/hero's base afterwards.

Is everything in the entry taken into consideration in the judging period for this contest?

The Lost Island and Skycraper contests for example only took certain parts of the build into account when judging. Is this the same with this contest? Sorry for the confusion.

Everything is taken into account but the focus of judges attention will naturally be on the theme of Super Hero/Villain Home bases. If the home base is on top of an custom terraformed volcano... I'd take that into account in the sense that it's cool the base is on a freaking volcano. I like it more so it may increase concept & originality score. Atmosphere / location will have influence on the community and judges. Location, location, location. Super minds tend to pick wisely.
That said, main focus should be on the design & details of the home base. If participants want to build in a flat world, they can. Maybe it's a flat world super villain that wants to terraform the world but the flat lander society is against it! It's all about being creative.
