IMPORTANT Update! (18/08/2021)

The PMC Group Picture will be coming to an end.

I will keep my promise of adding 50 people per picture, and since I only got to pt. 2, that means that I will stop working on this project when we hit 100 players in the picture. I know this is annoying to hear for all the amazing people that were not amongst the 100 first, so to make it more "fair" so to speak: I will be choosing random people to make for the last spaces available in the group picture.

Will this project be continued after we hit 100 players?
- No. At least, it will not be continued with me in the lead of this project. I would love for someone to take over the project once we hit 100 players.

Why are you cutting the project short?
- We all gain and lose interest in certain things, and if there are no 'benefits' such as paid work in what you're doing, the interest can fall over very quickly. The PMC Group Picture is one of those unpaid spare time projects that quickly lost its momentum for me. Other spare time projects such as creating music, attending Poetry Slam events has been grabbing my interest :)

Hello there!
As the title of this post suggest, then yes! Welcome to the PlanetMinecraft Group picture!
Quick background-story that you can skip if you want to:
- Nearly a year ago I actually tried doing one of these group pictures. However, I failed because I completely underestimated, just how much work actually goes into creating over 50 different characters. But, one to not be deterred by failure, I am back, this time with a lot more knowledge and thought put into how I should go about this.


How does this work?
- I have estimated that there should be space for around 100 people in the finished group picture. The way it works it quite simple: You have to post a link, picture, or your IGN (In game name) in the comments below, and then I'll write your name down, draw your character, and add them to the group picture.

Plan for the future:
- Okay so a plan for the future is actually being made, and here are the points which we know are going to happen!
1. There will be between 4-5 pictures (Thanks to Yuki for the suggestion (ps. Sorry for not giving you credit before))
2. Each picture will have space for between 50-60 players in total.
3. A resource-pack with the stone, grass, wood etc. textures is in the makings.
4. A blog post keeping track of all the pictures and characters is in the making and is expected to be released once the first picture is complete.

- And now here are some ideas for the future, but beware - !THESE ARE JUST IDEAS, THEY WILL MOST LIKELY NOT HAPPEN!
1. Create 'merch' in the form of an A3 poster of the completed picture (Needs a lot more research than just being an idea)
2. Extending the picture upwards
