Skin Fight 2025 + Last Years Results !!emoji_events

We had 181 participants...
Unfortunately due to mass turnout, we were unable to
feasibly score all of the submissions. However, we do have
the final total attacks per team:

Overworld 924 attacks vs. End 387 attacks vs. Nether 719 attacks
Overworld won by 205 attacks
I'd like to give a big thank you to everyone who participated this season, we had another great year because of you guys! We appreciate you sticking with us during our recent reworks and unique 3-team season. We plan on switching back to 2 teams as usual this year!
Unfortunately, all of the award badge files were corrupted!
However, we will ensure that badges and results are sent out this season after our system rework!
Now onto Skin Fight 2025..

And we are welcoming new staff members marshmary kiyeo and anxii !!
-~+.; What is Skin Fight? ;.+~-
Skin Fight is an annual event that lasts throughout the month of June, where participants will break off into three opposing teams. Participants can earn points for their team by submitting “attacks” (fan-skins) of someone’s original character/persona from the other team!
At the end of June, the team with the most points accumulated will claim victory!
This event is all meant in good fun, so please be kind, enjoy yourselves, and spread the love!
Event ends: June 30th, 11:59pm EDT
All updates and announcements will be posted to the group wall and our Discord server! Make sure to give us a follow to stay updated!

1. You must have a persona or an OC (Original Character) to participate in this event. If you don't, your sign-up application will be void.
2.You must submit your sign-up application, and fan-skins through the designated google forms. It will otherwise be void.
3. You can only submit skins for someone who is participating in Skin Fight. If they are not on the participation list, your entry will be void.
4. You cannot enter the same skin twice, but you can make two fan-skins for the same character as long as they're made from scratch each time.
5. If you are caught stealing another participants skin or fan-skin, you will be removed from the event immediately.
6. Each time you make a fan-skin You must create it from scratch. You are not allowed to use the original as a base. If you barely deviate from the original, you will receive a warning, then removal from the event if behavior continues.
7. Keep all skins PG-13,NSFW is not allowed whatsoever.
8.You are allowed to genderbend and change the outfits of characters, ONLY IF it's permitted by the owner. If you are unsure, do not genderbend/change the outfit of that character.
9. All fan-skins must keep the original character recognizable. This includes keeping eye, hair, and skin color the same. As well as hair length (unless genderbent.)
10. Pixel art is allowed as long as you fill up the whole front and/or backside of the skin.
11. Do NOT sign up on group accounts.
12. Please credit your reference in the description of your skin! Show the original creator some more love~
13. Usage of genAI in any capacity will result in you getting banned from the event.
14. Pre-making attacks is not allowed as it gives an unfair advantage to the team which the participant is on.

The point system has been completely reworked! Instead of the staff scoring manually,
each participant will grade themselves according to a guide, which will be found on the attack submission forms.
This is meant to prevent burnout on the staff's end, who will still skim through submissions, and to
give better scores to higher quality attacks.
Note that cheating via this system will result in being removed from the event.
In the essence of making things simpler behind the scenes, we have also switched back to a 2-team system.
A new format for rosters will be used this year which had a separate column for all of the references.
However, there will be two additional pages which showcase only participants and only references respectively.
each participant will grade themselves according to a guide, which will be found on the attack submission forms.
