The craziest day on the internet is coming up on April 1st and what better way to celebrate than to surround ourselves with memes! In this skin contest, we pick our favorite meme, or create your own, share it in the description and more importantly capture the meme in player skin form! It's the Meme Scheme to bring them into the game to the delight or annoyance of everyone! Even the grumpiest of internet dwellers can enjoy a good meme from time to time.

Power of Light
- When an artist is aware of it's power, lighting can be the largest contributor to defining the tone & mood of a work of art. From film to photography to Minecraft skins, an artists choice of lighting is one of the first things a viewer picks up on before the mind moves on to interpreting the finer details. In addition to the first impression, selective lighting can draw a viewers attention to one or more aspects the artist intends to highlight. For this skin contest theme, your challenge is to think about how you can use lightning as a artistic tool from establishing a first impression to guiding our eye through the use of selective highlighting & shading.

TPW : Tree Punching Wrestlers
- LET'S GET REAAADY to RUUUUMBLE!!!! Tree punching wrestlers have the baddest pixels this side of the Nether. In this skinning contest, your goal is to craft a wrestler designed to punch the pixels out of the competition. We also strongly encourage you to come up with a backstory for your wrestler both to inspire your design and to explain what drives someone to train by punching TREES!

Aztecs & Egyptians
- Two of the most fascinating civilizations of this world have inspired and perplexed modern minds in countless ways. Let their cultures inspire your mind to create a relevant Minecraft skin!

Inspirational Famous People
- There are many ways for someone to become famous and that journey and status can be inspirational to others. Is there someone famous that inspires you? Take that inspiration and let it inspire a skin design that represents them physically OR their work, creativity, achievements, etc. Use the description to tell us what the person inspires you and your skin.

Fright Night
- What goes bump in the night?! Let's make skins that make your skin craaawl! Nightmares, goose bumps, tales from the crypt, animatronic teddy bears, demons, ghouls, goblins... MOOONSTERS from your imagination. Let's bring them all into Minecraft! MuhahahahHAHAHA HAHA *cough* *hak* *ahem* hAHHAHaha ha.

DawnBringer's 32 Color Palette (DB32)
- Palette restriction with the intention to inspire creativity. You'll be restricted to colors in the famous DB32 color palette. What you do with the palette will be up to you. If you've never used a color palette before, this is a great one to start with! Original creator & more information here.


Music
- Musical tastes are as diverse as the sources of inspiration during it's creation. Make a skin that relates to music whether it's by genre, lifestyle, celebrity or culture. Let the music flow through your Minecraft Skin or into your ears at least. Either way, dance party and/or head banging is encouraged. Show us what you got!

Disguises
- If it weren't for those meddling kids, I would have gotten away with it! It's time to pull off those masks and show who was really behind the deed. Make a skin that makes use of the hat layer to disguise what's underneath.

Skin Fighter
- Choose a fighter from one of the following classic match-up games, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Primal Rage, Killer Instinct & Soul Caliber. It can be from any version. Remake the character into a Minecraft Skin and reference the game & character it pays homage to. You may also create your OWN fighter but be careful, judges might knock it out of the competition if it's not clearly for this contest theme. ROUND 1! FIGHT!
