We're considering this a beta phase since there's likely to be bugs, suggestions and valuable feedback that we'll need to address. Basically, it's a good excuse for when things break. um how do you launch a group mine still says draft and i want mine to be official even though i can invite people to be in the group it still says draft can anyone help me plz i really need it

There should be a button to publish live on the top of your groups page. If you can't find it then I guess invite me so I can check if it's there.
Is there a way to get notifications for replies/likes/etc when you post as the group?
I don't really care about the diamonds/likes, just the replies specifically. I find that it's hard to keep track in my help or tutorial threads. I have to remember to go look at the post in question and in the long run I don't think that will work out for me. Too scatterbrained.

Yeah. That's understandably difficult and a good idea. I'm almost done working on a revamp to how content perm works with an extension to the entire concept of working together on content / submissions. This update will also allow me to send notifs for things like replies to the original poster of the content instead of to the group. Redirecting notifs might come a bit later but it's too useful / logical of an idea not to do. Thanks for bringing it up!

Np! Just updated so that the original author of group content will receive notification of comments on the content instead of it going into a black hole. All replies on your content in a group will appear with your other responses to your own content.

Maybe I can do this for wall posts & content original authors. Do you know if you hover over usernames anywhere on the website, the member tip shows which groups they are apart of and if you hover of the group icon it displays the highest role they hold?
I know it's not the same idea since it's hidden / harder to find (two hovers).
I'm mainly concerned about keeping things relatively clean & easy to read. I'll have to see what it looks like having custom role titles, which can be anything / length (user defined) on wall posts, guest posts & content pages. Maybe if it's small.

Is there currently a way to change group names, or would we need to contact you or someone to sort that?
When ren made the group he just called it "Ren smp" but we came up with a proper name for it, hence the fact im asking x3

So a few thoughts.
So group content doesn't show who posted it. That's kinda something I would like to see added at some point.
Also being able to post the content and edit/add group content should be separate permissions. Same with being able to remove widgets and content.

I'll add the original poster credit near the group avatar similar to how it is for wall posts.
I'll have to think more about separating out the add, modify and remove permissions. I think there will be two different content permissions. One that is given to group managers / trusted members in which they can easily collaborate on the same content as well as make decisions about content that is added by members with a restricted level content perm.
The new restricted level content permission would all members to submit, edit and remove only their own content. Will come up with good name for the two content permissions.
Lastly, in attempt to cover all bases, we should introduce a collaborator system much like forum threads where owners of content can invite ANYONE to help. This wouldn't be specific to groups.

Bit of a stupid question, I'm overthinking it but want to be sure.
In the group roles there's the 'content' permission.
Does this give the users the ability to submit, add, or edit their OWN content, or does this give them the ability to edit ALL submitted content.
If the latter, is there a way they can just do their own, or is that already added? Thanks.

Currently the content permission does give all access to all content shared by the group. It was meant to allow group members to collaborate on submissions together.
I can see why groups would like there to be a permission that allows members to submit content to the group and only have permissions to modify what they submit. I'll think about how to best to add that type of permission while still allowing the current more powerful / trusted members content perm.

Can you look at the ticket I made for a group suggestion?
Are you planning to allow people to make more than one group or do you have to reach a certain level to create another one?
Do plan on allowing the creation of more than one group per member but I'm not settled on when or how you qualify. I'm thinking of tying it to the first created group. Something like, x weeks after established first group + combination of either stats ( followers / views / activity ). Just something that indicates you're managing the first group before you're able to apply for a second. If we allow third, it would be same concept but based on the previous two groups. We'll see.
Right now, we're still ironing out bugs and getting feedback on how to improve. I'd like to give all members some time to establish their first before members start opening more than one.

I have only one issue
uh
you have to wait to be level 10
and that is a major issue for people who made account before this update on the website and since their a team and don't really post alot or have a ton of subscribers its hard for them to achieve that team-status
I would prefer if it was level 5 but honestly going back in the code would probably be a lot of work, and you have a kid so I understand :)

It's one variable value to change the level requirement. However, level 10 is an obtainable goal for any member. We almost set it to 20. You'll be 10 before you know it, especially if it's a goal of yours to create a group. Now you have more motivation to share your creativity with PMC.

Yes, but it's quite high and if a group hits it, we'll consider raising.
