Happy weekend, everyone! There's a lot going on this weekend! We've got BUILDCON, a honey bottle challenge, a MOB UPDATE, and some stellar submissions to cover! |
 OFFICIAL EVENTS AND CONTESTSWe're a week into the Arctic Summit Community Event! We've seen some great entries so far including skins of many forms such as ones bundled up with cozy sweaters and scarfs, and ones that look like snowmen! In the projects submissions, we've seen some Christmas spirit through festive towns, cottages decorated with Christmas lights and more! We're thrilled so see a few blog and data pack entries, too! We thank those who have participated thus far, and are looking for more!! Will it be you?! Remember: as long as your entry is winter themed (think snow, penguins, Hanukkah, Christmas...etc!) it's accepted into the event! You can enter up to 5 times, so if you have more than 1 idea, go for it! We're also keeping a list of members who decorate their profiles all wintry. Peep FireBellFairy, ArcaneKnight clairesaige, Michiru, Lemilas and dreamCritting profiles for examples and to see some seasonal swag! At the end of the event, you get a participation trophy and we craft up a little article featuring some of the submissions. What are you waiting for! Tie up those ice skate laces and lets go!  COMMUNITY EVENTS AND CONTESTNEW COMMUNITY CONTEST & EVENTS! etqtay is hosting their own version of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge! Their 12 Days of Kei puts a Japaneses fashion style twist on the traditional seasonal prompt list! You can submit any form of art into their challenge, as long as it follows the prompt for that specific day!  | If you're looking for a more traditional prompt list, check out elfie_'s 12 Days of Skinmas List! The prompt specifies you must make a skin, however, you can use it as inspiration to create something of any art medium!  SWEET SKIN RESHADE! They're a little stumped on ideas and are looking for your help! You can now design and publish mob skins on Planet Minecraft! We support nearly all of the mobs except for a small pawful. Parileven squeezed in the newest BEE mob last minute! A whole new world is opening up for our talented skinning community. If you happen to create a winter themed mob skin, enter it into the Arctic Summit Event! Read all about the update HERE!

OUT OF THIS WORLD! In the project section this week, we saw a few fantastic builds that look other-worldly. Created specifically for the Undiscovered Civilizations Project Contest, The PillarHex District by Gheppio uses his self-replicating technology to create an interstellar city. Though the project was created over two weeks ago, since the conclusion of the contest, a Sandbox version is NOW AVAILABLE which means that you can create your own world similar to the one you see - without all of the work! That's right, at the click of a button you can have your own, unique world similar to the one you see to the right! Create your own district now! Download the Sandbox world HERE! |
| CYBERPUNK PERFECTION Alright, before we get to this one, we urge you to click here and visit the submission page for this project as it has some beautiful high resolution renders that shouldn't be overlooked. It looks like an actual cyberpunk city that exists IRL. Cyberpunk Project by ElysiumFire is a futuristic city that was built on forgotten remains of the 20th century. It includes megastructures, an industrial zone, a purification facility , wind farms, and a port where the trade of technology feeds the population. "Strongly inspired by the Night City from the game Cyberpunk 2077", the city is decorated with billboards and holograms that light up the night sky. Excellent work! |

 | EXOTIC BUILD Crafted by Grand-Pere we have this, very exotic, large and eye-catching organic build! Built in two weeks time, it's Grand Pere's first submission on PMC. We're looking forward to seeing more of their work! |
 | COZY BEES Kobro knitted some adorable cozy sweaters in anticipation of the bees officially bee-ing introduced to Minecraft! They state: "Since they're being added in December, as a warm welcome i knit them some sweaters! " AS IF bees weren't cute enough! This simple yet wonderful texture pack takes adorable to a whole new level! Just look at em'!  |
 | MINECRAFT NEWS Speaking of BEES - Minecraft is challenging the community with a Honey Bottle Challenge! To gather honey: Get/craft an empty bottle, approach a bee nest, then fill it up with delicious honey! They want to see if the Minecraft community can harvest 50 MILLION honey bottles this weekend!!
