What an amazing content week this week! It was really difficult to choose which works to feature, there were so many amazing submissions! A number of new community contests and events have popped up this week! We're currently running a poll for February's skin contest and wrapping up last month's skin contest, too. We hope everyone has a great weekend!

Here's how it works: behind each number, there are two titles she stole* from other skins. You get to pick one of the titles, and make a player skin with that same title! The original skin will be revealed when you submit your interpretation of the title! (that means no searching PMC for the original skin!).

In celebration of their 300 subscribers, Stubbs1 is hosting a build contest! The theme was voted on, and Castles won! You can build any castle you want - underwader, in the clouds, small or big! Tom created a pinterest board for castle inspiration, just in case!

elfie_ has hosted a few events and competitions here on PMC as well as Hypixel including Christmas Skin Competition, Halloween Skin Competition, "Elven" Skin contest, 12 Days of Skinmas, and many more!

PIXEL PERFECTION
Over on the blog section this week, we saw everything from, short stories, to renders, to a shader screen pack. Nitgo published some of his pixel, hand drawn and website art! We love his art style, especially his pixel art and the palettes he uses to create pixel art of skulls, planets, and other-worldly creatures. These two are just a small taste of what he published over on his art blog!

		SIMULACRUM SERIES Chiaroscuro published "the second to last installment" of their writing extravaganza event, Simulacrum series. The series started late last year and currently has 8 parts in the series and each part is written by a different member, but follow a single story line. You can read the entire series in the official collection here.
		TERRIFIC TUTORIAL Next up we have Bertiecrafter who published the 7th installment in their Data Pack Tutorial series, The Scoreboard (+ Triggers): This installment teaches you Where numbers are created, stored and juggled. His tutorials are outstanding, thorough and well made. If you want to learn how to create Function Data packs, you should check them out!

PIXEL PALS
Wildcard_Gamer created a few pixel pals of his favorite OC's in a new style! He's even started to animate them, and hints at possibly putting together a game, which we're intrigued by! If you view his profile, you'll see several adorable mini-skins he's made, quite possibly one of our favorite decorated profiles on PMC!

Using a reference image, rovly created a beautiful build of an Amsterdam Neighborhood nestled beside a canal!

FUN FACTS:

Did you know Amsterdam is known as "Venice of the North" and have 165 canals?!

If you've ever been to this beautiful city, you know about the bikes. Current estimates suggest that there are approximately 881,000 bikes in Amsterdam compared to their 851,573 residents.

FEATURED YOUTUBER This week's featured PMC YouTuber is ShannonGood! Her channel was created back in 2012 and currently has OVER 200 videos! What will you find on her channel? Well, mostly minecraft related videos including Disney Diaries, puzzels, Survival Multiplayer Series and more! Her most recent video is episode 42 of Disney Diaries, where she explores the new Magic Kingdom in Minecraft with a couple of friends! Her channel is almost at 1,000 subscribers, help a fellow PMC'er reach that 1k milestone by subscribing!
TRENDING ON REDDIT This week, Tstz's texture pack "Glazer Vanilla" went trending on Reddit! The thread currently has over 5,000 upvotes and 100 comments! The pack adds glowing ores, armor, blocks, bookshelves, enchanting table, and more! All of the tron vibes! Read the Reddit thread here!
SeanBit also had a couple of works trending on Reddit this week! His snowy mountain terrain currently has over 5,000 upvotes and over 150 comments which you can read on Reddit here. His other project you can't find on PMC but you can see it here. It's a BIG Iron Golem statue that he "turned more into a ninja". He's been so kind as to post a tutorial on how to build your very own gigantic Iron Golem! How big exactly? 13.5 meters! Compared to your 2 meter minecraft self, that's GIGANTIC! Let us know if you follow his tutorial and build your own - we will feature it in the next weekly!
