The Mobs of Minecraft Reimagined Mob Skin Event is closing in on it's last week! Your goal: to re-texture a mob or 5 to what you think they should look like. Mobs must remain true to it's original character; ex: a rabbit should be still be a rabbit. We have over 600 entries so far!

The Procedural Metropolis Project Contest ended a while ago, but the conclusion we've all been waiting for has been a work-in-progress! Selected submissions are being included in one BIG final city with a total of 342 buildings!

He's putting the final touches on the city and will be releasing it next week!! In addition next Friday (May 29) he'll be streaming a presentation of the metropolis before it's debut!

kappuccino is celebrating their 100 subscribers and hosting a palette contest, titled Half Moon. There is no theme, but you must create a player model skin using at least 4 colors from the palette. You're also allowed to use other similar colors if you please. Click the palette on the right to load it into PMCSkin3D!

In this turtle mob skin contest, you comment on the thread first. fluffyyy will give you a theme that you must use when you make your turtle mob. Fun!

It's almost Chaotic Stupid's BIRTHDAY and they're celebrating by hosting a skin contest with the theme PARTY! The event states:

"Party hats, cake, streamers, confetti, party vibes must be included in the skin!"

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place receive trophies! Woop woop!

PIXELS AND PAINTS
Back in October, Wildcard_Gamer hosted an event called Huevember 2019. He provided you with a pallette every day and your goal was to create a skin based off of that palette; similar to Skintober but instead of themes, you get palettes.

This week, he drew all of them, pictured right! We think it's really neat that he keeps using the same sets of skins as inspiration!

Speaking of TRENDING, newcomer Chris_XENO submitted his pack, Colourful Containers! The pack went trending on reddit with over 2,000 up-votes and 100 Comments!

The pack replaces the UI of every block like the crafting table and furnace. Each new menu will take inspiration from the block its associated with. Check out how nifty the new crafting GUI is!

Chris states in the thread that he's been working on it all week. That pack currently has the following GUI's completed:

Crafting Table, Chests, Furnace, Enchanting Table, Anvil, Cartography Table, Blast Furnace, and all Shulker colors!

This week a phenomenon known as "trending takeover" occurred. It's happened before and if you've been around long enough, you know that it's no secret DragonsDungeon organizes such events! The main goal of these skinning events is to take over every spot on the trending page with a series of skins with a specific theme, made by a group of members!

In this takeover, the theme was Mario, and all 31 skins in this takeover took overy spot on trending at 12 am UTC the 17th of May. You can see the footage to the right for proof!
