We hope this combo of updates help make it easier and more convenient to stay connected with our amazing community, its creative content and your friends here.

- Progressive Web App (PWA):
- Installable: You can now install Planet Minecraft directly onto your desktop or mobile device. Enjoy a more seamless, app-like experience right from your home screen or desktop.
- All New Mobile Menus: We've revamped the design of our mobile slider menus as well as added full member sidebar support.
- Faster Performance: Experience quicker load times and smoother navigation, making your time on Planet Minecraft more enjoyable than ever.
- Installable: You can now install Planet Minecraft directly onto your desktop or mobile device. Enjoy a more seamless, app-like experience right from your home screen or desktop.
- Push Notifications:
- Stay Updated: Get near real-time notifications for new messages, replies, and updates on your favorite threads and projects.
- Customizable Alerts: Choose what you want to be notified about and manage your preferences easily from your notifications settings

How to Get Started:
- Install the PMC PWA:
- On Mobile: Open Planet Minecraft in your mobile browser, open the main menu reorder and click the "Install PMC App" button at the very bottom.
- iOS Mobile:
1) In Safari, tap the Share icon at the bottom of the Safari browser. This icon looks like a square with an arrow pointing upwards.
2) In the Share menu, scroll down and select the Add to Home Screen option. If you don't see it immediately, keep scrolling as it may be lower in the list. - On Desktop: Click on the “Install” prompt in your browser’s address bar.
- Enable Push Notifications:
- Visit your notifications settings and toggle on Push Notifications. Follow the browser prompt to allow notifications for your account.
- Note: You don't need the PWA installed to enable push notifications. You can enable them in your preferred browser. Exception is iOS does need the PWA... sorry, we can't control this.

If you using Chrome on Windows, if you go to the app you will find 3 dots in the top right. Click this and select the Uninstall option.
Otherwise you can just go to your browser like normal and put in the PMC URL.

Although a refresh of the UI would be nicer, better for touch screens and stuff, and maybe few texture/design updates.

there's no prompt to install the app on mobile. i am currently on ios 17.5.1

Saw that you got it to work. Did you have to open the Share Menu on iOS to install it yourself?
no, mobile doesn't work - my post was about the pc app. i just tried the share menu but no pop-up displayed.

For anyone reading this, I found out that if you've already created an unofficial shortcut to their site, you must remove it from your desktop. That means you have to go to its source location and remove it from there. My app was called PMC while the official name is Planet Minecraft Community. This is because Google assumes you already have the app.
I used Windows 10 and Google to install the app.
