It's not quite a hub, but I am working on a 1.13 board game map and would like a couple different environments for the game to be played in.
Each one is a floating island of vaguely round shape with thematic decorations and the game board at the center. This board is flat and measures 8*8 blocks, surrounded by a rim of stairs, and has a complex design using multiple block types and stairs for depth. The surrounding environment creates a theme that reflects the design of the game board and includes other elements off of the main island such as smaller islands, airships, or hot air balloons. One of these will have a place to put a few buttons to manage or quit the game.
Each area would measure somewhere around 3*3 chunks in total, with the main island being around 24-28 blocks in diameter.

Darn, I was hoping to look at some of the things you've built. This sounds really cool in general.
I mean, if you're building hubs to load into on servers, would you need to account for the mods the server is using in case they give you more building flexibility or need to change your design in any way?

Alright, I'm still building my pack but I'm interested in seeing what you'd do with it. I'm one of those idiots who uses 50+ mods that adds way too many things and often results in catastrophic world corruption due to "Oh no, the monsters I was keeping in cages got out and recreated dwarf fort's 2cat problem"
