I'd say a raffle is best option. If you just open requests you might be overwhelmed. + a raffle is a fair way to choose what requests to do. Of course, if ya wanted more freedom to pick and choose what requests to do, you could do themed requests or just limit the amount you take.

A Collection contest! The collection must have at least 3 submissions of any format (project, skin, blog etc.), and all works must belong to the collection creator. You choose the overall theme of the contest.
