Just look for something that has a good processor, good RAM, and good graphics card and you're set for Minecraft. I use a laptop (Samsung) that has Intel i5 processor, 4gb RAM, and a GeForce graphics card. Runs about 300 FPS on Minecraft and got it for about $400. Pretty good deal if you ask me. However, it was made in 2010.
