FreeNode has been setup, and is ran by people just like you. We understand what gamers need and we understand that not everyone has the money to pay for game servers. Thats why we have decided to setup FreeNode in the first place. We don't just offer a free server, we offer premium servers at no cost to the user at all. All on our own, home built servers that have been setup and configured to run minecraft the best they can.
The reason why we are posting here today is not to advertise or sell servers, but is to see just how many would be interested in seeing us release. We would be here for the long haul and won't be going any time soon.
We hope to release a beta shortly, hosting around 20 Minecraft servers, the specs of these servers will be listed later on in this post.

If you are interested in the idea of this, we would love it if you could please leave a comment or PM this account, as we can add you to the beta list, and will contact users depending on the status of servers available once the beta comes out.
Each server comes with the following features and specs, please understand that these specs are to be upgraded once the beta finishes and are all subject to change before final release.
