i need help making a gate with fences and pistons.
there are 4 fences stacked and a double step on top of it.
i want to know how to get all of it to come down with pistons so its like a gate.
plz tell me if its possible or impossible and if possible tell me how

4 fences stacked won't work. (I know, making a portcullis would be gorgeous, but it just can't work.)
see, sticky pistons ONLY stick to the first block, the other blocks are either pushed (and stay where they are pushed, or fall back, depending on how they react in the game.)
so there ARE two ways to make a gate you can walk through that will look cool. either a horizontal or vertical opening gate.

This is the vertical one. W is the wall (whatever you make it out of.) P is the piston, F is the fence, S is open space. (where you walk)

This is the horizontal one. I know the letters don't line up on this one, but it still works basically the same way.
The TRICK is to hide the redstone mechanisms in the walls/floor so they look awesome.
