Moonbeam is a brand new minigame being developed by myself and a friend in Minecraft!

Moonbeam was inspired by the Tron series and science fiction work of the 80s. The general concept is simple. Your teams goal is the get to the moon. The goal of the other team is also to get to the moon. You must stop each other.
In order to achieve this task you must capture a center point in the map. This point grants benefits to the team holding it at that time. One of which is the gaining of Rocket Parts. Every 10 seconds you hold the point a piece of your rocket is added in the center of your base. Finishing the rocket (20~ total blocks) will result in a victory if you can defend it from the other teams until it takes off.

Contest details

This contest was created to get the creative backing of the Minecraft community for map-making! (Did we mention there were prizes?) You can build in any style you choose and may enter as many maps as you would like, that being said, Moonbeam map submissions have a few requirements.

1. The area accessed by the player has to be within a 300x300 area. Smaller is fine but not bigger. However, decor and scenery can go outside of this range by choice of the builder for decorative purposes.
2. You need to build two bases, one for red team, one for blue. These need to be somewhat balanced and need to contain several things.
a. A spawn point
b. A chest and enderchest
c. An area where two villagers can be spawned. This will be a market.
d. A 7x7 pad for the rocket to be built on
e. In the center of the map you need a 13x13 area/platform where the Moonbeam
will be. This platform can be part of the ground or floating but it needs to be
immediately accessible by players. Place a beacon where the beam should go.
Areas where horses/other mobs spawn can also be added at the builders discretion. Please place a sign where any of these may be.
Prizes

1st Prize - A $20 Steam or Amazon gift card
2nd Prize - A pair of Apple Earphones. Brand new of course. Up to three pairs will be given (If you build as a team) (This can only be shipped within the U.S, if you are not in the U.S. you will receive a different prize)
3rd Prize - A Minecraft phone case (Please send your phone brand/model if you win this prize) (This can be shipped internationally)

2nd and 3rd prizes can be substituted for each other. Third place can only get one pair of earphones.

All submissions must be posted on this thread as a download link from Mediafire or Planet Minecraft.
The deadline is July 17th. NO EXCEPTIONS
