Why was mojang so mindless when making stack dropping
Everybody knows that the button to drop an item is Q. And also, everybody knows that the button to hold when pressing Q if you want to drop the whole stack is Command. Well, I think mojang didn't really use their brains when doing that, because the key combination they just created was Command-Q! And everybody knows that quits your current program.

You can do CTRL + CMD + Q to drop a stack. I agree it was a stupid design choice, but I'm sure there was a reason Mojang was unable to do plain CTRL + Q.

Dark_Alpha_This problem only applies for apple users. The command + Q key combination results in closing the program the user currently uses. Windows users (which is the majority since apple machines sadly aren't really build for gaming) will not have this problem.
That may be the dumbest shortcut I've seen. As if there aren't already enough shortcuts for closing the program which don't use the CTRL key which many programs need.

The programmer who decided to use that key combination probably uses windows and thus wasn't aware of the resulting problems mac users might have.
I'm not aware of a solution for this problem.

I don't use one, so I can only assume that you're using an Apple?

Not sure if trolling or serious. Maybe you should take a look at the settings of your computer.

Command? Do you mean CTRL?
