How Do I make regenerating tools for a server?

I just made my first minecraft server and I want to make a Starting kit for people who join. Is there a mod or trick to where I can make Regenerating tools in a chest for people to use?

To be perfectly clear, you can easily set up starter kits with quite a few plugins. But, to have these plugins, you will have to have a Bukkit server. I assume you have a Bukkit server, but you can learn how to set one up here: http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/ult ... ver-guide/
After you set that up, download one of these two plugins and install them. Installation instructions can be found on the plugin topic. Click the word to go to the plugin topic (Durrr..)
