back-story: Born as the son of Satan he is half demon. his mother died during child birth and Shiro Fujimoto takes Rin and his twin brother Yukio to be his own children. Shiro seals Rin's powers within the demon slaying blade Kurikara. Rin had a normal life however he had "unnatural" strength and a temper to match. he got into fights often and injured all his classmates. The only one who could calm him down was Shiro. Rin admired Shiro and wanted to be like him. Rin was protective of his brother and encouraged him to chase his dream. Rin also has a naturaltalent in cooking.
appearance: in human form-- has slightly pointed ears, prominent canine teeth, and a black fur-tufted tail (kept hidden under shirt). bright blue eyes.
in demon form-- retains general appearance from human form with the exception of his ears becoming longer and elf-like, his pupils become a red-blue color, and blue flames ignite on his tail and above his head in the shape of horns.
always-- wears the uniform of True Cross Academy, which consists of a white shirt, a loose necktie, a black jacket, and blue pants. also seen carrying Kurikara which is covered by a red sleeve
